P.I.C
Straight out of NYC's Lower East Side, P.I.C is a charismatic, soulful collective that plays an intelligent and robust blend of Hip Hop, Latin-tinged Funk and Ska, driven by a punk-rock do-it-yourself ethic.

RED DATSUN
RED DATSUN is the product of lives spent in suede cubicles, shadowy bars,
ambient trains, and throttled cars. Young lives rooted in the sound of the
rock & roll the way the kids used to do it, and the way it used to be done.
Analog, dirty, unfastidious. Naming such bands as The Kinks, Rolling
Stones, The Who, The Clash, The Specials, XTC, Wire, Pixies, Pavement among
their influences, RED DATSUN has developed a rock & roll sound synthesized
from 70's and 80's roots, rock, punk, and post-punk elements.

BLACK SONNY
Amidst the jonesing junkies of Hell’s Kitchen, via the mad streets of Manila and inside the underbelly of Jersey City, Micah Valdes (vocals), Joel Bernardo (bass), Steve Canarelli (guitar) and Riley Sumala (drums) crossed creative paths. After the demise of their previous hardcore, dub & pop bands BlackSonny was born. The result was a blend of 60's Brit pop vocals, bass riffs that bait and hook, drums driven by a focused aggression infected with nasty breaks, and finally a pairing of ballsy angular rhythm & roaring lead guitars.

BROKEN ATLANTIC
Hailing from a number of points up and down the Eastern Seaboard, Broken Atlantic combines keen pop instincts, deft rhythms and some of the shiniest guitar hooks ever crafted to bring you melodic and supremely evocative indie rock. Benefiting from years of collaboration between Eric Bennett and David Canton (co-founders of indie supergroup, Electrolux), Broken Atlantic effortlessly weaves a full line of sonic textures, from pensive, jangling ballads to bonafide power pop anthems. Exciting yet strangely familiar, Broken Atlantic possesses a unique sound that inspires some to pick flowers for strangers, and others to pick a fist fight with friends. Whatever effect Broken Atlantic has on you, you'll certainly find yourself humming "that riff" over and over again.

CONVERTIBLE JENNIFERS
Convertible Jennifers (aka ConJen) are gently escorting pop music into
the new millennium with simple, catchy-as-hell songs - typically in the
key of A - about love, vampires, Scrabble and the representation of
seahorses in indigenous Nordic fin de siecle adolescent literature.
With P.I.C's own Mark Concerto (guitar/vocals), and now featuring Alter Ego's Fat Tony (keys) and A-Roque (drums), conjen's indie rock
triangle offense is fluid, relentless and always unselfish. Listen to
ConJen in your Prius, through your off-lavender iPod, or while
protesting the RNC, but be warned: Convertible Jennifers will charm your
pants off (if, indeed, you wear pants).

LOVETESTER
Lovetester is the brainchild of the incomparable Rick Bartow, bassist for P.I.C and former bassist for a fairly prominent Zappa cover group called Project/Object. In Lovetester, Rick Bartow escapes the tyranny of the bass spotlight to sing, play guitar and keys, and remind the world to love. Lyrically and musically, Lovetester's opus is simultaneously intelligent, insulting, mundane, dreamy and odd. What other band do you know that can make intricate music about sneezeguards likeable to even the most militant enemies of intricate music about sneezeguards? How Rick, Matt Pugliesi (guitar), Wes Paich (drums) and Boxy (bass) achieve this only Lovetester knows.

SHIVA COPAL
Shiva Copal adds an uncompromising punk sensibility and a perfectionist streak to the Riding Mower Records psyche. Shiva Copal makes punchy, guitar-driven music drawing upon the best of punk and hardcore without losing sight of songwriting. They achieve this thanks to the riveting, razor-sharp drumwork of Will Gage and the superior abilities of front-woman, Reilly Hope, whose vocals float just above the unit's instrumental landscape. Also featuring Christian Marquez (guitar), Glenn Gabisan (bass) and David Canton (guitar/spiritual leader), Shiva Copal plays loud, fast, but always in control.

TWO TALES
Two Tales blends just the right amount of pure rock and roll with the sexy sounds of contemporary pop to create songs with real substance - a dream-like, poppy sound that is pleasing and natural to the ear. Matt delivers his emotionally provocative lyrics with a wide vocal range that is both delicate and raw. Mike Bellina’s fluid bass lines are interwoven carefully between Matt’s simple, yet tasteful guitar lines. Steve Moraghan completes the band with driving beats that add a distinct personality to each song. There is no doubt the band draws some inspiration from the sophisticated brit-pop sound that has successfully made its mark in the U.S.. What you will not hear are gimmicky songs that sound dated. This is pure musicianship through and through. These songs are destined to haunt you endlessly upon hearing them.
